The shelf life of an unused bar of cold process soap from CH Studio is about 1-2 years but we recommend using it within 6 months of purchase as the oils will lose its scent over time. It may last longer if it's stored in a dry place. One way to know for sure if your bar of soap is still good is whether or not you notice any signs of rancidity which is an indication that the oils have gone past their shelf life. Once a bar of soap has been used, the lifespan is all dependent on how you use it and how you're allowing the wet bar to dry. We recommend using a well-draining soap dish to help extend the life of your bar.

Our bar soaps are handmade from scratch in small batches using the cold process method. We combine food-grade and fair trade oils and butters, pure essential oils and or phthalate-free fragrance, fresh herbs, spices, clays and natural micas. Cold process soap takes 4 -5 weeks of processing before it's ready to go home, it's truly a labour of love!

Yes, all our products are biodegradable as we only use earth-friendly natural ingredients.

All of our orders are processed within 1-5 business days. We ship Via Goodfoot Delivery withint Toronto and Canada Post everywhere else. Local pick ups are also encouraged to help cut back on fuel emissions.

Most of our products are Vegan, please refer to individual items as each product is labelled "Vegan" in their description. We do have some products that are made with beeswax and honey. All products are cruelty free.

If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from CH Studio, please contact us at chstudio213@gmail.com for return approval within 72 hours of receiving your product. We will issue you a return or exchange your product for something else in our shop. Shipping fees are not refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Please note we will only accept returns on unused products. Returns will be processed within 48 hours of CH Studio receiving the products.

We've made the decision not to use palm oil in any of our products as it is difficult to source and validate sustainable palm oil.

Keep candles away from direct sunlight or direct fluorescent lighting as they will likely start to turn yellow. This does not affect the burn of the candle but rather the look of it.

This occurs when the melted wax cools at an uneven rate. This is actually a common trait of soy wax and does not affect the performance of the candle but rather just the appearance.
